Whatever happens, happens for something good...

One day, a conversation with my friend insisted me to write this blog. I told her all these things and she felt better after listening to me. I hope everyone does find few words of solace in this post.

My friend:I am jumbled up with problems and everyone is happy around me. When you are actually deplorable then no one is there with you and you are left alone with a whole lot of problems. My life is messed up and it will remain like this forever...

Here is my commend to her...

No new words or new philosophy I am going to teach you today. I just want to remind you the very famous dialogue of "Kareena Kapoor" in "Jab We Met", "jo insan actual mein chahta hai, real mein use hamesha wai milta hai"-"if a person wishes to have something actually then he surely gets it".

It may sound abrupt but just look and observe the people around you. A pessimist fails once and it is multiplied by 100 coz of his attitude. He will be depressed, sad and loom for so many days. He will talk to everyone with anger and therefore his problems multiply. Nobody wants to even see a freaking person like him. Before doing any other job he knows that he has failed already and he actually does coz his attitude has killed his self confidence and faith.

Whereas an optimist’s one failure will make him sad for 1 day or less but he immediately consoles himself and looks at the positive side, takes a deep breath and laughs around with his friends saying "who rejected me didn’t have eyes but button". Therefore for him the world is at fault, so he tries again and again and again unless he lands at what he wants (PS: given same situation to both of them).

Somewhere and sometimes even God surrenders and gives you what you want :-)

This has actually happened with me. Pessimist didn’t want to be successful and so he doesn’t and an optimistic wanted to be successful and at the end, he gets what he wants, if not everything then something satisfactory. God knows better than us what is good for us. We may get adamant like a small kid to play with a particular toy but our parents know better which toy is hazardous for us so that’s why they bring some other, more nice toy to play with but will never leave their kid without a toy. Same goes with God and human's relationship.

It’s all about perspective. We may be sad for a particular thing, example, “someone said bad words for us behind our back”. However an optimistic will feel betrayed for a little time but besides spoiling his day for a person who doesn’t matter to him, he will see the positive side, make fun of the person in his heart and think him as a fool who didn’t understand a gem of a person like him.

If I may take an example from the movie "Jab we met" itself, in the first scene, Shahid Kapoor was distressed. He leaves his lavish lifestyle /business/his family and everything behind coz his girlfriend ditched him. In his journey he meets Kareena, the ever bubbly and most importantly optimistic person. Nothing personally changes in his life, his girlfriend doesn’t come back nor do his falling business gets reformed on its own but his perspective to see things changes and all problems seemed small in front of his eyes. Now he wants to actually solve his messed up life. He didn’t know that at the end Kareena will marry her but he knew that she had changed his outlook towards life and so he was happy. He achieves what he actually wanted (success in Business). In same situation he reacts differently in different point of time, only difference is his “PERSPECTIVE” and “POSITIVE ATTITUDE”. He comes out as a winner later.

When God sees you fighting with problems with great spirit then he himself gets impressed and gives you bonus points. Besides giving him his flourishing business back he also gives his love (a bonus point from God for having a positive outlook). Warna us rondu sadial se Kaha shadi karti Geet.

Movies are no rocket science. They are inspired from social experiences and real life. They are not out of the blue moon so why not find your inspiration/learning for happiness from them only. Especially Bollywood movies are more real to life coz Indian producers don’t have brains and daring to experiment something unique and different and out of the world like Hollywood does. Except few examples like the movie, Love Story 2050 which failed terribly and is erased from the memories of people completely.

So next time if you feeling low/bored or plain sad then you know what to do. Pick a CD of your favorite inspiring movie and watch it. Simple!!!

Also sharing your problems with your near and dear ones relaxes you a lot. Just like vomiting, feelings are also meant to be vent out to someone close. Don’t keep inside you for long or else you may need to take medicines and at the end more messed up life.

'Some words left unsaid' - Part 1 of a Fiction

What is Love??? A Fiction - (Part 1)

This is a story of a young lad who is gentle enough as a cosset. Her name is Chahat. By profession she is an artist and is associated with a play and drama group in Delhi. Humble is the word synonymous with her. Her friends mean a lot to her. All the happiness in her life is associated with them. She hardly had experienced any emotion in life except being satisfied. Her life was smooth and enjoyable but like most of the girls she used to live in a fairy tale imagination, "one day that special someone will come, her prince charming and take her all along with him forever to a better future."

She was good at her work and enjoyed whatever she does in life. Seldom she wanted anything from someone or hated anyone. She had a blind faith in God and respected her closest friends, Pia and Suman. Though there was still emptiness in her life.

Once she was sitting with her friends (her 2nd family) in a restaurant and then Pia’s phone rang. She was not around so eventually Chahat had to pick it. It was a guy, (Pia's friend) and left a message to Chahat for Pia to call him back. But as happens in the fairy tales, the guy got fascinated with the pretty voice on the other side of the phone and asked for more details from Pia regarding the lady who picked the call initially. “She is a coy and a decent girl, don’t think about her” was Pia's answer to which the guy replied, “I am a decent guy too that’s why I am your friend and I only want to know more about her.”

Pia and Suman always wanted to help Chahat with a special someone in her life as she never was in a relationship with any guy in her entire life of 21 years. "It is high time that you give yourself and life a chance and speak with this guy", said Pia to Chahat.

"I am too scared and have never spoken to any guy like this before", replied Chahat. "I don’t know how to talk with a stranger and will end up making fool of myself. It’s also sounding very cheesy as I am not desperate for friendship". These were the thoughts pondering in her mind to which Pia made her understand that, “this is how you meet people. Sitting at home and hiding your face under veil will not make a guy know about you.” Buuuttttt..... Friends are friends, ek kasam and Chahat was in but only at one condition that she will not speak with the guy. Only sms and that too reply sms will be provided by Pia.
Pia agreed to this, atleast Chahat said yes.

Then it started sms and more sms. The guy (Sunil) was sending it to Chahat and Chahat forwarding it to Pia and Pia sending answer to Chahat and that was forwarded to Sunil. This happened till 3 messages and when it came to answer 4th one then Pia felt asleep as it was 11 at night. Chahat had to reply on her own as she didn’t want to hurt Sunil's feelings.

As not predicted but both Sunil and Chahat felt the connection and instantly they became very good friends. Sunil really liked Chahat as she was a decent girl with beautiful thoughts. He was flattered on her simplicity.

After a long 4 days of sms, Sunil started to insist Chahat to speak on the phone. Chahat again got scared to which Pia explained her saying, "till how long would you be in your safe shell and act like a child. Come out of your tender behavior and act maturely."

Now there was no option but to talk to the guy she had started to like.
Phone calls started and here is the guy footing the bill. The never ending calls became the daily routine of Chahat and Sunil.
What, Why, How were the questions coming to Chahat's mind.

Knowing about this development of talking 24/7, Pia decided to set a day for Chahat's and Sunil's meeting, thinking that they should not get too serious for each other unless they actually meet. The day was friendship day, 5th August.
As this was the first official date of Chahat, so butterflies was there in her stomach. Pia and Suman accompanied her to make her feel relaxed but told her that, “you have to sit alone and we would not join you both and dare you tell this to Sunil that we are accompanying you.” Pia and Suman were also glad that finally they two were meeting because Sunil’s friend was Pia’s boyfriend.

Sunil entered the restaurant and recognized Chahat at the first sight. His heart started pounding fast as he was seeing the most amazingly impeccant and beautiful girl in his life. Chahat knew that Sunil hate lies so she was scared as she was hiding a truth from him.

Being too shy Chahat started to fumble and blurted out that her friends are also there hiding at different places. This was the first mistake of Chahat's life. This erupted a volcano between the 3 friends and furious Pia and Suman left in anger. Sunil obviously felt bad as if he was a terrorist and CBI came to spy on him. This was Sunil’s and Pia’s first meeting as well which resulted into a debacle.

So the first date was a disaster. As soon as Chahat, Pia and Suman reached home, all of them had a terrible fight. Sunil was angry with Pia as he felt cheated, however he didn’t know the situation between the 3 friends.

Returning home weeping with broken heart and fear of losing her friends Chahat called Sunil and told him everything. He was a self respecting guy still he put that aside and called Pia to patch up things with Chahat.
The last thing Sunil wanted to see is tears in Chahat's eyes. His heart was broken as why he ever said yes to meet Chahat. They were happy being phone friends.

Finally the problem got solved and 3 friends were together again. Sunil was able to help Chahat and made things better between her and her friends but in the course he lost his new found friendship. Sunil atleast felt happy for Chahat but didnt want to continue his friendship with Pia which became sour. Chahat was grateful to Sunil as he helped her in whatever way he could. Chahat blamed herself for all this and this was the break of a beautiful friendship of Chahat and Sunil.

Part 2

What is Love??? (Part -2)

Days passed and Pia broke with Sunil’s friend. Sunil got busy with his work but he didn’t forget the days spent chatting with Chahat nor he stopped missing her. Chahat was also busy with her show approaching. Suddenly Sunil heard a tone of 1 message received on his cell. It was Chahat's sms.

Chahat: Hi, How r u?
Sunil: M gud, how abt u? Nice to receive ur msg. I thought u forgot me.
Chahat: M fine too.just messaged to ask abt ur well being.
Sunil: thx for ur consideration.m good and keeping v busy these days.
Chahat: ok u carry on n all the best.
Sunil: thx :) u tc.

In a short span of time that Chahat and Sunil got to know each other, they shared a zillion things about their lives. Sunil was staying away from his family deliberately to prove his father that he can earn on his own without anyone’s support.

He was successful in keeping his promise as he stayed alone, got a job, worked with sincerity and hard work and was earning enough to support him and his friend’s spendthrift habits. He is good at keeping his promises. His friends are his life and he hates lies. These are the things broadly describes Sunil.

2 months later

Sunil called Chahat to tell her something. Chahat heard Sunil saying with his voice filled with extreme elation, “hey I have come back home to my family.” Equally excited Chahat felt a deep glee in her heart. She was extremely delighted and told Sunil with great enthusiasm, “wow, great, I knew it and am so happy for u”. Both of them shared their happiness.

This was the time Sunil expressed his desire to meet Chahat. Well versed with the last meeting, she was apprehensive to do so.

Chahat told Pia and Suman about her conversation with Sunil but they didnt seem pleased on that. They were no longer excited about this relationship.

After days of convincing, Chahat agreed to meet Sunil. She went to Sarojini market to shop clothes for her next performance with her colleagues and while returning she met Sunil in CP. Nervousness again shed her and she didn’t recognize the person standing in front of her. She walked through him and entered the restaurant. It was Sunil she crossed, hardly acquainting him.

Sunil knew her to be a confused soul, followed her inside. In such a short span of time he started understanding her so well.

They greeted each other and Sunil told Chahat about their encounter at the restaurant door. Chahat was embarrassed.
Sunil didn’t have words to explain how wonderful he was feeling as he was meeting her after a long time. He remembered every minute detail of his first meeting with Chahat, her clothes, accessories, her sandals and even the way she was sitting. He kept staring at her. It was a lovely meeting without any quarrels.

Time passed and they both became inseparable. Seemed like they were made for each other. They both had the best times of their lives. Love was finally in the air. Being sensible and mature guy he started to guide Chahat wherever she required his help and Chahat filled a place in Sunil’s heart that no one can ever take. 'Someone somewhere is made for u', finally Chahat started to believe it because she had met her soul mate. Both completed each other. Sunil used to correct Chahat wherever she went wrong and Chahat controlled Sunil during his times of anger.

Fairy tales does exist and there was no better place than earth to stay.Every breath of Chahat started with a thank u to babaji and Pia and Suman for Sunil. He was an angel in her life. This gave her courage, she started to regain her lost confidence and top of that, she fell in love with herself. He is the kind of guy in front of whom Chahat can say any stupidest of thing in the world and will not regret after saying that, knowing very well that Sunil would correct her.

Sunil also liked pampering Chahat. He wanted to stay with her forever to protect her from all the evils in life. He also wanted to make Chahat strong enough to fight the ups and down of life on her own. For this he had to sometimes scold Chahat badly. But feeling bad after every scold became Sunil’s habit.

They started to meet more often for movies, shopping, long drives etc. though Sunil liked watching movies, Chahat loved shopping. Some requests, arguments, a friendly battle and then ruthna and manana. Sometimes shopping won but most of the time movie won.

Sunil and Chahat felt gladden every time they met. Sunil was protective towards Chahat and wanted to bestow her with best things in life.

In Chahat’s terms, he is lovable, caring and a wonderful human being. In Sunil’s terms, she is a sweetheart and kissed her forehead.Chahat saw some of the weirdest of movies on cinema hall and Sunil spent hours in shopping centers buying nothing, completely exhausting. They started to see their future together. There was not a formal proposal but their eyes said it all.Though Sunil confessed his love several times to Chahat but Chahat didn’t take it seriously because she was a fearful girl who is very uncertain of future. She didn’t want to confess her love for him in the dread of increasing his feelings towards her the moment she uttered those words.

Seeing the circumstances, Sunil’s family was not agreeing to this relationship and warned Sunil to limit this bond with Chahat. He still wanted to elope with Chahat but Chahat didn’t want to separate her love from his family. The situation was dicey and future was vague so they decided to spend the present together happily without weeping and crying. "May be God blesses us with our togetherness as a gift."- they wished together.
Chahat trusted God completely so it was his mercy that she was asking for.

After 3 long years of blissful life
Chahat’s birthday was approaching. Suddenly Sunil started to make less calls to her than before. Not accepting what the problem is, she started to encounter him. Everytime she heard was a ‘sorry’. Little did she know what was on his mind. Chahat called several times but every time Sunil was busy.

Getting aggravated by his behaviour she promised herself that she will not call him unless he reciprocates her call. But it didn’t come. Neither the call nor Sunil. He was gone. Gone without telling, without asking, without speaking. Chahat kept searching for him, but to no avail. His number not reachable. Contacted his friends but all she received was one reply, ‘He is not a good guy for you.’ Who are these people to decide who is good or bad for me? Chahat was tormented, she was shattered. All she wanted is to meet him, to confess her love for him. Passing of days became difficult, more difficult was to stay alive.

Love of her life for whom she waited for several re-incarnations is gone in a second. That was hard truth to digest. ‘Please come back’ were the 3 words that Chahat kept murmuring.

At her acting classes her performance in emotional scenes improved as it became easy to cry than laugh, and the tears coming out of her eyes were real. She was receiving lot of compliments for her work but everything was incomplete without Sunil. Her eyes kept searching him in audience but he never came again.
It became a routine for Chahat to spend nights weeping in silence. She remembered all Sunil’s things, his habits, his care, his touch. Anyone could spot Chahat sitting gloomy surrounded by bunch of people. She tried to stay calm and happy to show the world that she is fine. Who used to be a funny channel was now a girl with tears. An optimist was transformed into a pessimist and God was the main culprit as she trusted him for his help. In return he separated both of them.

What could be the reason of Sunil’s sudden departure? Why he said to all his friends to tell Chahat that “he is not a good guy for her"? Her first love dissapeared in front of her and she could not do anything. Pia and Suman told her to be practical. “This is such a harsh word on earth. This meant to forget the moments spent with him that made her happy". "Her future is in dark. Why he did this to her?" However she still trust him and love him completely. "What could have been his bindings that he had to leave her like this?”, she thought.

She started to hate life and if the next moment she has to give her life then she would do it happily.

God united them and he made them apart. The person who showed Chahat the path of living has broken her self confidence. Chahat stopped trusting relationships and started hating the world that separated two lovers greatly in love. Cry and more cry was the destiny now. Every minute and second was filled with Sunil’s memories. She can not forget him because she does not want to.

Chahat thought that, "God wanted two soul mates to meet that’s why he sent Sunil in Chahat's life but actually he wanted to show his authority and superiority that’s why he separated us for no reason."

Life is like this, if this would have been a movie then climax would have been 'Sunil weds Chahat' but reality is cruel.

Chahat’s faith had disappeared. Her lifeline was gone somewhere, but she always prayed to God to "please take care of Sunil as he still is mine, no matter till how long u keep us apart but the love will never fade away."

What is Chahat’s future? What will happen to her next??? All she wanted was togetherness with her boyfriend, was this asking for too much? What have happened to Sunil? Is he missing Chahat like she is? Why they could not be together? What harm could they have caused to anyone if they decided to be together forever? If they were not designed to be together then why they ever met? Will she never be able to meet him again?

Such is life, u will find more questions and less answers, most of the questions remains unanswered till the end of our life.

Life is not a movie and not every love story have happy ending, no matter how deeply you love someone, Chahat finally comprehended it. Her's love story was not a cheerful one.

Can Chahat get her Sunil Back? if she has done nothing wrong in life, then will she be blessed with the one she always dreamt of???

Nation's new Anthem "ALL ISSS WELL"

Dil se bolo...ALL isss well.

3 Idiots of our nation said these words, “ALL isss well”, means everything is fine. yes here m talking about the most loved movie of the season, of the year, “3 Idiots”. Since its release, this movie is getting rave reviews from all critics and audience however I would like to bring to notice some funny moments shown in the movie which despite being really witty were actually not and have tormented the sentiments of some people.

To begin with let me make it clear that I am a big fan of Aamir Khan and really like the way he works, his dedication, his ideas, love for his work and the message that he tries to put across through his way of storytelling. I was the first one to tell all my friends to go and watch the movie and I myself wanted to see it 1st day 1st show. As anticipated this is a great movie and loved aaaa... laughed watching it at many places. At some instances I stood from my seat and literally clapped and whistled. Unfortunately where it was most liked by youngsters, it may have hurt the feelings of some elders.

Some of the sequences in the movie are absolutely fabulous and the learning which they are providing is worth applauding. The learning and a message to society seemed similar to the message of the movie "Tare Zameen Par" i.e. criticizing our old and backward education system. The perfect learning being, “try to excel in whatever you do and victory will follow you”. Now I am a big fan of this message and the movie and the actors and the director.

We liked the message in ‘tare zameen par’ as it hit direct to its audience and was too the point but in case of 3 idiots it was shown in a different vision. Am myself is of the opinion that in order to clear an examination one need to understand the basic of the subject and not just mugup things – (teaching in the movie). I got low marks in my college despite being a bright student in school coz the subjects in our course required us to cram it and I didn’t like doing it. No Aamir Khan came to my rescue to explain me the basic concepts of my boring subjects.

However following this heroism thought and message of the movie it has shown some sequences wherein fun have been made of some serious issues. Raju (Sharman Joshi) is too hapless in the movie and wants to be an engineer to end all miseries of his family. His paralyzed father, his old and ever crying mother, his 28 yr old unmarried sister and no family income, all expectations from their only son – u feeling pity, don’t be coz this is the most hilarious scene of the movie. I would have felt offended if I would have been in Raju’s place in real life. To all this Rancho (Aamir) is telling Raju to be carefree and learn the basic first before appearing for his examination. As this is the hindi movie so he has to be successful at the end however this carefree and being transparent attitude would have cost Raju a hell lot of things. Everyone is not Aamir Khan or his buddy who could take grievous risks and still manages to win at the end.

In another incidence, Raju and Farhan (Madhavan) while searching for their lost friend Rancho goes to Javed Jaffery. They take Javed Jaffery’s recent died father’s ‘ashes’(asthia) and warns him to disclose the truth about Rancho’s whereabouts otherwise they will put the asthia into the commode. I laughed like crazy but my father felt it in other way. He said there are zillion more funny ways to get the truth out from someone but why they are disgracing the dead.

A movie is a reflection of our society. Learning for many and youngsters, teenagers, kids follow the things that hero is doing and will dislike things that a villain is doing. That’s why hero is shown as a good human being in most movies because there are lot of impulsive and juvenile followers but in the movie 3 heroes (Aamir, Sharman, Madhavan) are shown pissing in front of their professor’s house at night. Do they want kids to get inspired and follow them? They usually get drunk in college at night and then talk wise.

Sometime back, in one of Aamir’s interview on a TV channel he said, “I didn’t like the movie BLACK”. Getting dazed by his statement the journalist asked the reason behind his bold statement to which he replied, “In the movie Amitabh Bachan is beating a deaf and blind kid in order to teach her. Child abuse is shown in the movie which people watching it might follow, which is not right.” I agree but why is he showing serious offence in his movie like pissing outside your professor’s house for fun, youngsters might follow it.

The last scene of the movie was shot in Delhi at “Imperial College” wherein Kareena’s sister is pregnant. Kareena is a doctor, she has a quarrel with her father (Boman Irani) and she leaves her house, far from everyone in disgust. Now her sister is having labour pains. Options are to take her to the hospital but you are mistaken, in few hours rain has poured so heavenly that roads got blocked coz of water logging. No ambulance can come to take her nor Kareena can come to her sister. Now what is the option???think….. our own hero and his friends will do the delivery of the baby. Total filmy... (just few moments before he and his friends were rusticated from the college). At that point I wondered, when the time Delhi was got choked with so heavy water logging that vehicles were not able to move even an inch for several hrs. ok hindi movie, kuch bhi ho skta hai... Now they have everything intact and are ready to do the delivery buutttt hindi movie again electricity went off. He still manages to get the electricity with the help of car batteries. Kareena’s sister is Boman Irani’s (their professor who has rusticated them from college couple of minutes ago) daughter.

So finally baby is born, all kudos to Aamir Khan, the hero (whereas a whole team worked together) but credit has to go to only THE HERO. Boman Irani gets emotional and cancels his rustication orders and gives him his precious pen which he kept it with him for a long time to give it to the brightest student he will ever come across. Great naa… A person with engineering background can now work as a part time doctor. Just wanted to remind you that nothing personal, no one is as big fan of Aamir Khan as I am.

I thoroughly enjoyed the movie and thought it as a prudent decision of the makers and actors to be a part of such film. But being a true and honest fan, I wanted to bring certain things to notice which most people have missed mentioning. Reports said that “Aamir Khan's "3 Idiots" makes a business of Rs 100 crore in 4 Days‎” (source: http://www.breakingnewsonline.net/bollywood/238-3-idiots-do-rs-100-crore-business.html) and it is sure to make more business and may even break records of all movies made in this genre or this year. Kudos to the team but just be more concerned towards the outcome and impact on society. It has the highest “entertainment quotient” from all the movies I have seen till now.

Couch Potato, A Reality Check...

Well to start with and being precise, this is a blog written on me for self analyses. No I am not self appraising but being a bewildered soul asking myself “what are my hobbies”? This is the question often asked by interviewers before selecting any candidate for a job, “What are your hobbies?” As if they will let the candidate follow his/her hobbies in office. ex. A person likes gardening so he can plant trees in office premises to satisfy his creative urges.

Instead the interviewer should ask “what are the things you like doing which you would never be able to follow while you are with us”.

Such is life for a working professional especially in a private job. Sometimes it seems ages that you had followed what you really like doing. Also if you ask me what are my hobbies then my answer would be hmmm.... let me think. Seriously I dont know what I actually like doing. However must be a bit clear from the heading itself, I like watching TV. I am a big couch potato. Put me in an isolated house, give me TV set (ofcourse colored one) and some food and I can live for many years and can even break all records of Big Boss all seasons put together. But I am scared to do a reality check on what I end up watching.

Once on a chutti day (got an off after a long hectic week), got time after long to switch on TV, cancelled my shopping plans with buddies. Wanted to stay at home and fulfill my eagerly waited wish to see TV for long hours.

So finally was holding a TV remote in my hand. TV switched on... switched to Zee Tv and “Agle janam mohe bitia hi kijo” was being telecast.

Didnt want to torture myself so surfed another channel.
Here came Sony entertainment televison, CID was coming.
I think the channel should change its name from “Sony” to “privately owned by CID”. I like watching the serial but cannot take the overdose. Then it was colors TV, there it was time for "kya hottiiiiii utran". This serial makes me cry coz of its stupidity. What the hell is happening? A girl on her own wish, makes her friend cum sister sit in for pheras instead of her place, to get married to her boyfriend and then she is crying like hell,,, why?????. need a brain storming session to understand this.

Another channel, Sony Max wherein “Sing is Kingg” was coming. They only have one movie that they show every now and then. Have already seen the movie twice on cinema hall…not interested.
Again changed the channel and it was India TV’s turn. They were showing another of their “Breaking News” wherein a small girl residing in a small village got into a pit and was asking for help.

All the reporters standing near the pit were capturing in their respective cameras and was asking us (the viewers) whether this small poor little girl would be able to rescued or not. I wanted to tell them that if you are so concerned then jump into the pit and rescue her or else adopt her when she will be out. But they didnt do any of this.

Then again I surfed and here came most loved serial of all aunties "yeh rishta kya kehlata hai" on star plus (ofcourse it must be a repeat telecast). One married couple is asking the viewers, what is the name of our relationship???? are'nt they husband and wife? Confusing for me!!!

Now time came for "MTV", repeat telecast of splistvilla (I must say that this serial is for weird people who dream of owing fame by doing nothing except bitching).

End up watching this disgusting serial for long 1 hr...phewww... don’t know why.

Again surfed and switched to “Zoom TV”. Wow this one held my eyes but not for long. They were showing the countdown of popular artfilm actors and were praising "Neha Dhupia" for her enigmatic personality and her charm. Ok she is charming but for whom. didn’t understand so switched again to “Star One”. They only have one serial with them "Mile jab hum tum".

The characters are trying so hard to please people with their nonexistent acting skills and trying even harder looking good by applying lot of make up than usual. Channel wale are also proud of this no story line useless serial...no no no no.... switched again and it was HBO. This channel is at the end of surfing on my TV coz our cable wala also knows that this is not to be watched by parents and should be seen under strict surveillance of their grown up children. But to my luck (bad or good don’t know) a sci-fic movie was coming. not interested…
Wat else to watch for... still I didnt switch off the TV. I started it all over again from Zee TV to sony to colors to MTV to Zoom etc. in the hope to land up on a good piece of thing.

Reality check on some serials already on TV: "Big Boss" on Colors (strictly to uplift some forgotten and untalented people on TV). I would call it a social service, bravery award for them. Still it manages to steal lot of eyeballs.

"Lux perfect bride" on Star Plus (please stop this serial of disgracing prospective brides by eliminating them coz they didnt have any connections with 5 dumb boys in front of them).

"Raaz Pichle Janam ka" - After watching this one I wonder, common man in his past life is from small cities of India living in extreme conditions but when it comes to our celebrities they all are from beautiful locales of Switzerland, Netherland and US or are from English speaking countries. Can God be so partial??? Also everyone is human in their past life. No one was insect, cow, horse, elephant, mouse, tree, bacteria, sparrow or dog.
Roadies (can watch it not bad but please dont show people eating shit)
I dont like any serial running currently on TV so what are my hobbiess???? does anyone have the answer!!!!!!!!

Upcoming shows: "Rahul ka swamvar”, I wanted to participate in this one just to tell Rahul my true feelings for him, “u dont know where u r heading. u shd not think of marriage right now and focus on your falling career. Wat you will make ur wife eat???Another swamvar to earn money???? Also one piece of advice for you, stop eyeing for young girls you old man."

I wish I would have gone for shopping with my buddies only :(

dare to pick customer care call, only you are responsible for your hard luck!!!!!

Phew... these customer CARE calls. Do they really care? It is absolutely unfair

Hearing the ringtone and attending the call have dual effects. It irritates some when you are busy but for some its the most soothing voice on earth (for chatterbox). I am a kind of person who hates to avoid anybody's call and gets excited on receiving the call because according to me someone has thought about me before giving me a call. So dont want to break hearts by not picking it.

I am in a kind of profession where I usually get calls which mean business. So here is another reason for attending them. I was happy when I was in college and my pop got an exclusive cell phone for me. Never thought that when I will grow up and become a professional then this cell phone will become a blood sucking creature. My blood is very precious, wanted to donate some more.

These calls from so called CUSTOMER CARE DEPARTMENT have sucked my blood. I get calls from them as early as 6 o clock in the morning and as late as 12 at night. Once at 11 o clock at night when I was dizzy and was about to have a sound sleep then suddenly I heard my cell phone started ringing. The mobile was lying at a distance so I hurriedly rushed there to pick it before it gets disconnected. It was from an unknown number. I thought must be a business call, I picked it and heard "aur is dil mein kya rakha hai... tera hi naam likha rakha hai". Got really pissed off and saved the number as "HUTCH IDIOT". next time will not pick this number.

I had a fight with my boyfriend and was expecting him to call and apologize. Again an unknown number flashed on the phone, I thought that he wanted to surprise me by calling from an unknown no. I picked the phone and it said, "tanhaiiii tanhaiii, dil ke raste mein mene thokar esi khai, tute khwab….” naaaahhhhiiiii. That really broke my heart. Its really embarrassing and in my teens we used to say at such a situation, chopi ho gai means bezzati kharab ho gai (spoilt the image)

Again, once I was in the meeting and client was really irate as why not much work has been done on his account and I got a call, thought may be for the good of this client only. picked it after getting a weird look from him and heard "wheres the party tonight". I thought let me meet you guys then will tell you wheres the party, after beating you in pieces.

Once I was stuck in an overcrowded bus and was feeling really agitated as sweat pouring from all over in this scorching heat, suddenly got a call. people around me was so many that it became difficult for me to reach till my phone. i pushed some, had a quarrel and finally reached my cell phone and picked the call, it said "mere sapno ki rani kab aaegi tu..."

This also happened once when I was in cinema hall and was watching Raaz part 2(Horror movie). the suspense was about to unveil, thrilling moment, all eyes glued to the screen and hearts beating faster than normal. suddenly phone rang. this was the last thing I wanted to happen on earth, when I am watching my favorite movie and receives the call at the climax of the movie. had to pick it. went all the way to exit, stumbled, disturbed everyone and finally picked the call and heard, "jab hum jawa hoge..jane kaha hoge......" cut the phone in disgust, returned to the hall hurriedly to atleast see who the culprit is but my friends said its time now to go out and not come in.

Now it has become a daily routine and have got used to it. I save their number every time they call but they always call from different numbers. Now if the call comes, whether I have rushed hurriedly from the washroom, or have missed other important call on my landline, I always attend their call with a smile and gives answer to each and every query.

PS: have sent request for stopping these calls several times but all in vein. very lazy to register online. That’s why have compromised with the situation HAPPILY.

Guess they follow me everywhere I go because they are happy to help but in which way that is not mentioned....

Every drop counts!!!put a bucket below the tap with little water drops falling from there. the bucket will be full in sometime

Making a drop count.

Since childhood I have been very fond of doing well to the mankind. I know I don’t have best of the heart but still I always had this inclination in my mind to be useful for anyone someday, at least to one individual if not many. However I never used to get a chance to do something really great that people will call it a very humble and compassionate move.

Just to keep you all a bit informed that I don’t look like the healthiest of all. I have a feeble body according to my near and dear ones and I should never think of doing something like donating blood otherwise after taking my blood the doctors will have to donate 2 extra bottles of blood to me which they have taken from someone else.

Once upon a time I was returning home from office and was walking my way to metro station. It was evening 07:30 by my watch. It was all dark and crowded as I was passing the congested roads of CP market. On the corner of the road there was a set up of a blood donation camp (sponsored by some NGO, forgot the name). As I was on the phone so I didn't notice it. One handsome looking guy came in front of me and said, “Mam please donate blood, it will only take 5 min”. Bingo.... this was the moment I was waiting for. I was hesitant as it was late and dark. But still that young guy didn’t have to try very hard to convince me. I went inside the camp and people there told me to lie down on the stretcher. One younger looking guy came and he was looking like an intern. The only thing that made him look like a doctor was the stethoscope around his neck. I asked myself, “is he going to take my blood out of my body?”

I thought to myself, "Now is not the time to back out". I kept lying there and he started to inject me the injection and began the process of taking out my blood into a bottle. During the process he was making me involved in his not so interested talks so that I should not panic however he seemed more scared than me. I saw my red blood was traveling through the pipe into the bottle. Somewhere deep in my hearth I was feeling happy and lucky.

After the process was over I stood up and wanted to rush home but the people there stopped me and told me to take rest for some time. Thank God they stopped me because soon after the process I started feeling like vomiting and I vomited. Everybody who was attending other donors they left them and came to my rescue. Someone holding towel and someone holding plastic bag all came running towards me. After that I vomited again and the process continued... I thought that it was all because of that handsome looking guy. Neither he would have charmed me with his looks nor was I feeling awful after series of vomiting. Everyone started to console me and trying to make me believe that it was natural and there was no need to panic but their panicked expressions were showing some other picture. Anyways I was not scared rather I was thinking that would I be returning home vomiting all over the places. They gave me juice, apple, biscuits to eat for energy booster. I finished two small tetra packs of juices and ate several biscuits. I enjoyed the attention that I was getting. Everyone around me was serving me as if I am the princess who has just landed to heaven. I ate, ate and ate. I wanted to tell them to go and attend rest of the patients who were watching me with glued eyes, but I didn't utter anything. Lagey raho … Lagey raho… !!!

Bahut hogaya pampering and all, time to go. I was feeling better and decided to make a move. They also gave me gift as the token of appreciation. Gift!!!! wow.... Ek baar aur khoon lelo yaar! Gift wrapped in the wrapping paper was so tempting, I wanted to tear the paper right there and see what is inside but...I resisted again. I was feeling dizzy but was also feeling a sense of self admiration, happy and excited. I did what I always wanted to do. It was a great feeling. I landed up home safely and am still alive after approx 1 year of this incident.

So people!! extending your helping hand to others in any way is a feeling beyond comparison to anything. Am not telling you to hurt yourself in the process but world is a small group of people, they should help each other, stay together happy and spread happiness. Staying happy is so much fun. Do good to people and they reciprocate the same with interest.... how??? wait for my next blog.
